• Beach Towel Drums is a fine selection of a natural acoustic drum kit recorded very dry and close
• Rehearsal Drums is a very raw rehearsal drum kit recorded very roughly
• Toy Drums is kids toy which costs 3 Euro
• Electro 20 is a well selected assortment of our huge Korg MS20 drum library. The sound are available in 3 variations: original, heavy processed and distorted. Furthermore the Rude Boy comes along with two sets of Hi-Hat and nice selection of toms, cymbals and useful percussion.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT

DRUMBOXES is the new drum modules line by Cinematique Instruments.*

THE CONCEPT

The basic principle of DRUMBOXES is a four fold layer drum set with loads of edit options adjusting the right screws! The DRUMBOXES are equipped with an interesting selection of sounds: Beach Towel Drums, Rehearsal Drums, Toy Drums, Glitchy Cans, Rhythmus Partner, Noiz & Raw, Electro 20 (for more detailed information about the drum kits please go to the Modules page.

The drum module:

• 4fold layered drums: it gives you the ability to use it all-day!
• separate tuning knobs of bass drum, snare, hi-hat and percussion
• separate knobs to adjust the length for each of the four bass drums and snares
• separate volume fader for each of the four snares, bass drums, hi-hat and the percussion
• global EQs (high-pass, low-pass)
• global reverb fader to set the reverb amount of 4 different selectable rooms (arena, club, bath and plate)
• four timbre switches (loudness, presence, rotator, amped)
• load/save feature to save and recall the complete drum setting
• Randomize: the famous function delivers uncountable variations and endless possibilities
• Kontakt 4.22 or higher is required The 16 step sequencer:
• synchronized to our host as well as standalone with the essential features:
• easy sequencer work-flow (1 click set the note, a 2nd to increases the velocity level, 3rd click to remove the note)
• 4 of 7 instruments are selectable out from 9 different instruments such as toms, wood, click, cymbals etc.
• Various signature from 16/16 to 4/16 - necessary to realize signatures such as 6/8 (=12/16)
• Double or half time mode
• 3 shuffle modes, which correspond to the percentage of 25%, 33% an d 52%.

1. The 4 drum kits b - Solo button: hear each drum kit separately
3. Tuning: tune each instrument group (bass drum, snare, hi-hat, percussion) from 4 to -4 semitones
4. Volume fader: set the volume for each of the four bass drums, snares, hi-hat and all percussion separately
5. Length: set the length of each instrument separately: small (S), medium (M) or long (L)
6. Choose between three variations of the Electro 20 kit: normal (N), phat (P) or distorted (D)
7. Choose between two hi-hat variations for "Rude Boy" - "Electro Partner" contains 3 variations): acoustic (A) or digital (D)
8. Switch to select drum kit presets
9. Timbre switches: Loudness (Hi-Fi alike), Presence (more present), Rotary, Amp on
10. Filter and reverb knobs: Lowpass and Highpass filter, knob to set the amount of reverb: click on the name of the reverb below the knob to choose between four different reverb options: bath, plate, club or arena
11. Randomize: every hit generates a new drum kit !
12. Load or Save the drum kits

1. Instrument column. The coloured instruments are selectable. Just click on the instrument name to change
2. Load and Save buttons to load/ save your patterns.
3. Signature knob to reduce the amount of steps. With the help of this feature you can work with different measures such as 7/4, 3/4 or 6/8
4. Shuffle knob to swing the notes. You´ve got three different levels of shuffle.
5. Transport area with start, clear and tempo: Start for standalone start or stop. Note: The rhythm x step sequencer runs automatically in sync with your host sequencer. Clear deletes all sequencer notes and Tempo: by clicking on the button you can play in double or half time.
6. Rhythm x 16 step sequencer: By clicking on the grey fields you can activate a note at the according time in two velocity levels. By clicking again the note is disabled. The Hi-Hat row got a third conditions which let play the open hi-hat.
